Home-grown HTX and women owned –The Doggie Express (DEX) Barkery Moves to their New Home in Garden Oaks
Houston, TX – Kelly Long, Marla Martinous, Cindy Long, and The Doggie Express (DEX) Pack (furry & human) are taking DEX to the next level! Home-grown, local, and women owned, The Doggie Express barkery has moved to its new home at 1402 W 34th St in Garden Oaks.
If you haven’t visited the barkery yet: the offerings include organic, gluten-free, grain-free, and dairy-free decorated and undecorated treats, ice cream, cakes, and jerky. Every item is made, decorated, and packed at our new home!
The award winning barkery started with Kelly’s idea to use only natural and human-grade ingredients of the highest quality without any artificial flavors or preservatives…But we didn’t stop there, as Marla says, “the treats must delicious and whimsical.”
Spending the last few years building the brand, the DEX pack is ready to settle down and give the Houston area dog parents a place to shop and mingle! The DEX pack hopes the shop and dog park will become the place to go for events (local rescues and private) and Doggie Parties. As Marla says, “We chose this space because of the potential and the versatility it offers as we grow and build our roots in the community. Dogs and their humans are going to love it.”
The Doggie Express will host their Grand Opening on Saturday, October 1st from 1pm – 4pm. Follow us on social media (@DEXtreats) for more details and of course, to see all the pups and treats.
