Bringing Women Together to Educate & Empower One Another
This event is open to all women business professionals. We hope you will join us and empower other women in our business community.
Bring your business cards and make your next business connection all while you enjoy a delicious lunch.
TOPIC: Jedi Mind Tricks for Work and Home
Category: Leadership, Sales, Customer Service, Personal Development
Have you ever started a conversation with someone that went downhill quickly and you didn’t know why it happened or how to get it back on track? What about dealing with an angry client who never seems to be satisfied? Or, how about that coworker that keeps saying “It’s fine” when we know it’s NOT!
During this interactive session, we will introduce a human behavior theory which can be used to establish better outcomes from initially challenging conversations. You will learn:
- What emotional ego states you will encounter in discussions.
- How to identify the ego states in yourself and the other party.
- How to neutralize conflict and confrontation during the conversation.
Implementing what you learn during our session will lead to more productive, less emotional conversations in the workplace and beyond.

A Texas girl, born and raised in San Antonio, Cindy left home to study at Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, returning to Texas to complete her Bachelor of Science in Aquatic Biology at UT Austin. After graduation, she did research on atherosclerosis cardiac disease at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and was published in the Journal of Pathology. You can thank Cindy and her team for determining the fact that one glass of red wine daily raises your HDL – the “good” cholesterol.
