Tell us a little bit about you. Things you like outside of school, etc…

Coach and judge debate, play video games, read current events/philosophy/fantasy

Give us an idea of your education passion, can you tell us something of why you chose education…

When I was a student, both in high school and in college, there were teachers who very literally changed my life, ranging from my high school debate coach to my college education department profs. Lessons that I learned during those formative years still come to mind regularly and have fundamentally shaped who I am as a person. I became a teacher to make possible similar interactions and relationships with students. It’s also the reason I especially enjoy working with freshmen – younger students are less likely to be jaded and are easier to amaze.

To help you feel better what do you like? Card, Starbucks, candy, prayer, etc… list as many things as you wish

  • Delicious food
  • Baked goods
  • Prayer
  • Amazon gift card so I can impulse-buy without feeling guilty

To help you with supplies, what items are you wanting?

  • From a technology standpoint, I’m looking at tablet technology to help me write on virtual whiteboards – specifically Wacom tablets. They make it a lot easier to map out concepts and teach virtually.
  • This is not immediately as relevant since at least the fall season will involve online competition and we won’t be able to physically meet or practice, but the debate team is always in need of legal/printer paper for notetaking purposes.
