Tell us a little bit about you. Things you like outside of school, etc…

There’s quite a few things I enjoy doing outside of work, but among my top favorite thrift shopping is one of them. I purchase use items and resell them in order to make additional income. I also enjoy working out and keeping a healthy lifestyle.

Give us an idea of your education passion, can you tell us something of why you chose education…

I have to confess; I feel like this field chose me. I started my journey back in 2014 as a teaching assistant at Ketelsen Elementary in SLC classroom. I absolutely fell in love with Special Education, I wanted to learn more and expand my expertise. I then went on to work in SLL classroom at Marshall & haven’t left since. I am very passionate about education being that I come from a family who migrated to the U.S and did not receive formal education. I was the first in my family to graduate from college. I am one year away from graduating with a Masters in HR. My goal is to continue giving back to my community and motivating my students by sharing my story.

To help you feel better what do you like? Card, Starbucks, candy, prayer, etc… list as many things as you wish

Starbucks makes me incredibly excited. Who doesn’t like coffee? 😊 Candy(for my students!)

To help you with supplies, what items are you wanting?

calendar, planners, colors pens, dry erase markers, pencils, cute folders for storing my student data/documentation. My favorite color is pink.
